People love the Apple Watch, and Android Wearables. It helps them keep up with e-mails, send quick replies to text messages and stay connected even when they’re away from their office or desk. Would you go for a smaller accessory, perhaps a ring instead of a watch? A company called Neyya thinks you might, and the Neyya Ring is a pretty impressive piece of wearable tech jewelry.
Their tiny device is a ring with a flat black face that will allow you to swipe up, down, left and right. The battery life is really impressive. It can last 10 days on standby or 3 days with regular use. Connect it via Bluetooth to your iPhone, Roku or GoPro to control playback, volume or recording. You can also answer calls with the Neyya Ring, and use it with Siri.
The one thing people are saying they don’t like about this smart ring is it’s size and the look. It has a more masculine seeming style, and doesn’t look great on everyone’s hands, depending on their personal style. It is kind of big, bulky and black. You can choose a titanium or gold finish, and it does come in three different sizes, but is that variety enough to make it appealing to those who live for style? We’ll have to find out next week when it gets released on Amazon, at Target and Bloomingdales.
