Apps are pretty much applicable for any business. If you are planning an app, it’s time to get ahead of the game and make sure that your app will be approved by the App Store. Of course there is no surefire way to make sure an app will get approved, as some of Apple’s rejection qualifications are quite vague. In one week in October, 16% of app rejections happened because more information was needed. Apple also reserves the right to reject based on their perception of the lasting value of the app, which is a more subjective qualification.
However, many reasons Apple gives for rejection are pretty straightforward. The top 10 reasons, from Apple, for rejection represent 56% of rejections for that week, so these will cover a lot of things, but remember, there is still 44% worth of other reasons to think about.
